2022-23 Class Officers

Adam O. Rogers

Adam O. Rogers
President

Hey everyone, my name is Adam Rogers and I’m from Tampa, Florida. In undergrad I attended The University of Alabama where I majored in biomedicine (Roll Tide). During my time at UA, I represented 10,000 students as an elected class senator and created many pieces of legislation to change the university. I decided to attend the Biotechnology program here at Georgetown University over other programs because I truly believe they put you in the best position to succeed. In the future, I plan to combine science and finance to have a career in venture capitalism or business development. I am honored to be elected as this cohort’s class president and I’m excited for all of our future endeavors!

In my term I want to accomplish many things, firstly I want to build a stronger connection with the alumni and current students in the program. This will foster many job opportunities and connections for future endeavors. Secondly, I want to make it more easily accessible for prospective students to get in contact with our current graduate students. This will allow insight for potential candidates to see how exactly the program is run and what to expect. Lastly, I want to encourage events outside of the classroom to create a tighter-knit group. Doing so will establish a stronger bond within our program and make this year even more special. Thank you and Hoya Saxa!
