Stephen Sullivan

Stephen Sullivan, an Adjunct Faculty member in the Biotechnology program is the Course Director of one of our very popular courses – Drug Development from Discovery to Post-Approval. He created the course based on his belief that broad perspective, critical thinking and clear values would help students become more effective leaders. He has worked in  healthcare his entire career, largely in the biopharmaceutical industry and after many years with large firms like Abbott Laboratories, he took his first CEO position in a biotechnology firm where shortly thereafter he became CEO of two very different Contract Research Organizations (CROs). Today more than 50% of drug research is outsourced to CROs.
