Dylan Hernandez
My name is Dylan Hernandez and I am a graduate of the M.S. Biotechnology program, BioScience track, at Georgetown University. I grew up in Wichita, Kansas and went on to receive my undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from the University of Maryland, College Park. I worked as a medical assistant at a podiatry office for a year before beginning my time in the Biotech program, thinking it was but a stepping stone to Physician Assistant school. As fate would have it, I wound up becoming intensely interested in the biotech field during my time in the program and decided to set it as my new career focus. I also had the privilege of serving as the president for my graduating class while in the program. Currently, I am a Regulatory Solution Consultant at Parexel focusing on designing Regulatory Affairs and Market Access solutions to fulfill the needs of Parexel’s clients. Since receiving my degree, I have gained experience in all four big pharma (AstraZeneca), government laboratory (Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory), private startup (Viela Bio), and now CRO settings (Parexel International). My educational and practical foundation in biotechnology from the M.S. Biotechnology program and variety of experience in my career to date allows me to best guide Parexel’s clients towards successful regulatory submissions and interactions with health authorities.
Outside of my professional endeavors I am a competitive distance runner with the Georgetown Running Club, an elite/sub-elite running team sponsored by New Balance and Pacers Running.
