Charles Dormer’s Biography
Charles Dormer is an Adjunct faculty member in the Biotechnology program here at Georgetown where he teaches a Strategic Leadership in Science and Technology course. He has a Master of Science and Master of Philosophy degrees in Organizational Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania where he graduated from the Corporate Coach International Program and passed the Institute of Leadership and Management – Level 7 Certificate in Executive Coaching and Mentoring.
He has worked for over 30 years for top global pharmaceutical companies including SmithKline Beecham, GlaxoSmithKline, Wyeth, Pfizer, and AstraZeneca and founded APEX STP, LLC in 2014 to help leaders and groups maximize the speed of their journey to dynamic, impactful leadership through coaching, mentoring and teaching. He has been involved in major mergers, acquisitions, senior decision-making boards and change initiatives AND also brings experience in leading change and dealing with uncertainty.
Mr. Dormer is certified in Hogan and Coaching Mindset Index (AiiR Consulting) assessments and is a member of the International Coaching Federation, Life Sciences of Pennsylvania and serves on the Board of the Institute of Management Consultants – USA (Philadelphia Chapter) and is a member of the Forbes Coaches Council.
