Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory Summer Internships

Since 2012, the Georgetown University-Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (GU-LLNL) Internship has given graduate students the opportunity to engage in the cutting-edge research conducted at the laboratory. The 10-week, full-time internship culminates in poster presentations at the LLNL Student Poster Symposium in early August.

The internship is available to M.S. in Biotechnology students who have completed their Capstone Internship (BIOT 7950) and will be continuing their studies in the fall. Internship projects are available in research labs as well as the Innovation and Partnerships Office. Students are selected to apply by the Biotechnology Program Director based on their GPA, skills and career goals.
